Advertising is the use of multimedia technologies to persuade or motivate a desire for an unknown need or want. Advertisers create designs intended to promote, introduce, or sell products, services, events, or ideas.

Advertisements are created for a specific audience. Message are intentional designed and strategically delivered to intended audience.

Designers work with clients to determine the best type of design and media to solve a problem. The advertisement needs to clearly communicate a message to its intended audience.

Corporations can often create a demand for a product by bringing it onto the market and advertising it. The intention of advertising is to influence a purchase so that a demand will develop from a desire or an unknown need.

Most development of technologies these days is driven by the profit motive and the market.

Advertising Design is also known as Promotional Design.

Advertising Design is:

Organizing words, numbers, text, photos, graphics, videos, animations, sounds, or any other media in a meaningful order.

Choosing the best design that will meet the needs and wants of the end users.

Persuading people to buy things that they may not want or need.
