This section is designed to help technology teachers with curriculum design and development, program justification, lab design, unit design, and assessment design. This section also explains what technology education is, how technology education works, and why students need technological literacy.

All throughout school and even into post secondary education, students fail to understand how content and concepts may be used in real world situations. Many times students fail to grasp concepts and do not care to obtain knowledge, because they do not understand the purpose of the information. Teacher must reinforce the importance of information. Teachers must reinforce the importance of information in real world situations and challenge student with real world problems.
