1. Primary Processing - To transform natural or raw materials into products, including mining, extracting, refining, lumbering, and farming.

2. Constructing - to produce goods to fill society's living, working, and transportation needs (e.g. homes, buildings, bridges, railways, roads, tunnels, canals, and dams).

3. Manufacturing - To convert materials into useful products

4. Maintaining - To create services of economic value, including maintenance, repair, and education through the use of human resources.

Extraction - is the process of getting materials from where they are found in nature.

Construction - is building something on a site.

Manufacturing - producing products in a factory or plant.
