
Construction Technology
This construction technology course strives to give students a full understanding of construction history, impacts, design, project management, business, materials, and processes. Students incorporate knowledge gained from this site with classroom instruction and laboratory activities. Students will engage in design and problem solving projects, which incorporate many of the facets of construction.
Construction technology is the study of the development, production, use and assessment of structures. The purpose of construction technology is to produce goods to fill society's living, working, and transportation needs (e.g. homes, buildings, bridges, railways, roads, tunnels, canals, and dams).
